Sale of hydraulic fluid spurs call for class action

Shawn Hornbeck and Monte Burgess of Cass County are suing Tractor Supply Co. (Nasdaq: TSCO), saying the buckets of hydraulic fluid they bought there weren’t as safe for use in their heavy equipment as advertised.

Hornbeck and Burgess both bought several buckets of Super S Supertrac 303 hydraulic fluid at the Tractor Supply store in Belton, which stated it was safe for use in farm, construction and logging equipment and had characteristics that protected equipment from wear and damage. However, they say the product didn’t meet any of those specifications, but actually caused harm and increased wear and damage.
