Bob Buckley for The Examiner: Citizens’ Rights to Privacy Are Open to Attack

In his latest column, Buckley discusses the impact of the recent leaked opinion regarding the possible reversal of Roe v. Wade, the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision that established a constitutional right to abortion.

It should be no surprise to anyone that Roe v. Wade, the landmark decision of the United States Supreme Court decided in 1973, would be overturned after Justices Kavanaugh, Gorsuch and Coney Barrett were appointed during the last administration. Clearly the votes were present to reverse Roe v. Wade, and therefore the leaked opinion authored by Justice Alito should come as no surprise to anyone.
