White, Graham, Buckley & Carr Sponsoring 58th Annual Bill Summa Invitational Track Meet
White, Graham, Buckley & Carr is proud to announce we will be sponsoring the 58th Annual Bill Summa Invitational Track Meet on Friday, April 5, 2019.
The meet, which takes place in Norman James Stadium at William Chrisman High School, includes 27 teams from across the state. In addition to the meet, there will be a surprise dedication to Coach Bill Summa, formally naming the track Bill Summa Track, between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m.
Coach Billy Summa served the Independence School District and the students of William Chrisman High School between 1958 and 1988. Coach Summa molded the young lives of students through track and field and athletics for over 30 years. One of his former athletes is partner, Bob Buckley, who states that Coach Summa has had a profound effect on his life and played a critical role in developing him into the person he is today.
Guests are encouraged to attend, and are invited to RSVP to Coach Tyler Rathke at tyler_rathke@isdschools.org. Guests who RSVP will be added to the pass list at the main gate. Cake and refreshments will be provided as well as a tent for gathering, and storytelling as the meet continues on. Please help us celebrate this great day as we honor Coach Summa.
