WGBC’s Bryan White Earns National Law Journal’s Plaintiffs’ Trailblazer Honor

May 2, 2022

White, Graham, Buckley & Carr LLC is pleased to announce that partner Bryan White has been named a Plaintiffs’ Trailblazer by the National Law Journal. An honor granted to 50 plaintiffs’ lawyers nationwide, the annual Plaintiffs’ Lawyers Trailblazers list aims to highlight “born leaders and true agents of change.”

“I am honored to receive this recognition,” White said. “I work with attorneys who grew up farming and who have friends in the ag community. We decided to take action to help not only Missouri farmers, but also farmers across the country who had been damaged by this fluid. These hardworking members of the agriculture and construction communities are often those who can least afford to be deceived by mislabeled products or suffer costly repairs and disruption to their work schedules, and we were excited to help them.”

“Our hope,” he added, “is that cases like our tractor hydraulic fluid litigation will help improve lubricant product quality and labeling practices and discourage lubricant companies from cutting corners to increase market share and profits.”

White was selected as a trailblazer honoree for his groundbreaking 303 tractor hydraulic fluid litigation work, which in the last four years has yielded more than $30 million for U.S. farmers and consumers who have fallen victim to mislabeled and poor-quality tractor hydraulic fluid, including a $24 million class action settlement with Citgo Petroleum, a $10.7 million class action settlement with O’Reilly Auto Parts and Omni Packaging and a $7.2 million class action settlement with Tractor Supply Company and other retailers.

White, who handles all phases of litigation from pre-suit through trial, has obtained more than $35 million in consumer settlements in just three years, securing two of the top five settlements in Missouri in both 2020 and 2021. He has been recognized in the last year by Best Lawyers in America, Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers and Missouri Lawyers Weekly.
